Joy M. Ondiba is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Senior Associate at the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Kabarak University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at the University of East London. Joy maintains an active practice in family and private client matters, including succession, divorce, child maintenance, and related matrimonial disputes, alongside a robust litigation and dispute resolution portfolio.

Her work spans both contentious and noncontentious matters, where she routinely handles litigation, mediation, and arbitration in family and commercial disputes. Joy is known for her strategic precision, discretion, and client-centered approach, while safeguarding client interests and delivering efficient, durable outcomes. She navigates sensitive personal disputes and complex commercial conflicts with equal competence and professionalism.

In addition, Joy has developed complementary expertise in data protection and privacy law, having been trained and certified by the ALX Africa program, with a growing focus on cybersecurity and medical law practice. A technology enthusiast, she is keen on integrating legal practice with technology, particularly in regulated and datadriven environments involving governance, confidentiality, and risk management.
